Yeah. The point is back then Obama and the Democrats were against it because they wanted to wreck the Republicans. They're for it now because they want to wreck the Republicans. It's lunacy to think that this time around the debt limit increase is critical to the existence of the U.S., and back then it wasn't.
This isn't about the debt limit. It's about 2012. And we're being lied to about it.
