Someday we'll all look back and realize how completely insane it was...
to leave 45 million of our citizens without healthcare coverage...
and we'll finally realize how incredibly dumb it was, in both social and financial terms, to have a system that leaves a person who's hard-working but lacking healthcare, and who's suspectible to cardiovascular disease, out on their own without access to basic healthcare, and without access to preventive measures such as cholesterol lowering drugs, and letting them deteriorate until one day they show up in the emergency room, in need of a $100,000 quadruple bypass.
And the nation will gratefully thank Barack Obama and the Democratic Party.
