I think on all counts. Amazon sells stuff, and they'll happily sell discs of a show alongside the stream. You'll get yer DVDs.

I don't know why Those Idiots cancelled the show. I poked around google, and the Hollywood Reporter talks about declining audience numbers. I've worried about this in the past: Like thousands of other cord-cutters, I don't watch most shows within the "DVR window", the three days after broadcast when people who watch the show on DVRs get counted along with the premiere audience. I think I've contributed to serious undercounting of the show's audience.

In fact, I was going to wait for the show to come up free in Prime, in a few months. Then I heard about the cancellation, and decided to send Jeff a message, by spending $30 on Amazon to stream The Expanse.

Three days later he buys the show. Coincidence? Sure, why not?
