We have all been here before...
"Caprica" must have suffered a similar fate. An intricately plotted , sophisticated and complex, but self-consistent, storyline was suddenly rushed to completion with a hastily cobbled together denouement.
One of my favorites, "Defying Gravity", got its plug pulled abruptly in the middle of the first season end episode...just before the creature hiding in the cargo hold was finally revealed.
Once again, we are reminded that no matter how creative the artistic and technical staff may be, the business majors will be able to find a way to fuck it up.
