Since WWII the US has grow slowly liberal (and quickly sometimes- civil rights area). I'm not saying this is completely a negative. Changes were needed. But a lot of conservative values were caught and drowned in the undertow.

All I'm saying is a lot of what Trump stands for gives us hope that some of our values may be recognized again. Maybe not. I can't excuse the man but... whatever.
