They are trying to increase the death toll as much as possible so they can point to how Democratic handling of the crisis was ineffectual. They are actively promoting deadly disease control practices while simultaneously attacking long-accepted common-sense epidemiological measures. And you know perfectly well the leadership of the GOP does not believe the nonsense they are promoting. They are simply willing to kill Americans, as many as it takes, even a majority of their own followers, in order to get and keep power.
These people will do whatever they have to to keep their taxes down and corporate profits up. Its global warming (and cigarette cancer, and lead in the gasoline) all over again.
