Also, an interesting thing about Facebook algorithms...

Since I have started making HUNDREDS of posts on the importance of vaccines and masks to combat the misinformation being posted by idiots and bots, Facebook algorithms have decided I must be a conservative- apparently the algorithms are smart enough to pick up the fact I am posting copiously on vaccines and masks, but NOT smart enough to understand which side of the issue I am on.

So I am getting ads for children's books that teach kids the evils of socialism, and other right-wing nuttery...

I posted an obvious satire piece that showed the Dallas Cheerleaders new uniform (something akin to the outfits in the Handmaid's Tale). Facebook 'fact checked' it and explained this was not factually correct- meanwhile people are spamming wild claims about the efficacy of Ivermectin and the 'dangers of the deadly vaccine' with no fact checking at all.

I am only on facebook to stay in touch with some elderly relatives... I will get off of it when that is no longer a reason....

It has done severe damage to our nation, and I suspect, to the world.
