Old Irish curse: May you live in interesting times. I think we're there.

Things change so quickly with overturns in technology and knowledge in all areas that no one can keep up with them. An example: there is so much new info out there that no M.D. can keep up with everything in his/her field. He/she would have to read and train 24 hours a day.

The leaps that are coming in almost all areas are mind-boggling.
