A big problem
The mainstream media is largely downplaying or outright ignoring the very large immigrant element in these riots, looting and protests, while rightwing media is zeroing in on it. It's hard to find any videos or photos of the violence without seeing young Arabic men and women waving their flags and wearing their keffiyehs. And no, it's not just French students using those as symbols; the footage doesn't lie. This is playing directly into the far right's hands, and La Pen and other far right politicians in Europe are exploiting it to the utmost.
