Embedding a YouTube video

There is allegedly a special plug-in for YouTube videos, but far as I can tell, it's just the standard Flash plugin:

The tricky part is getting the movie ID to paste into this template:

~/pp~

The docs make it sound complicated, like you have to guess which is the right URL from all the YouTube "share" links. But really, all you need to do is copy and paste the part of the URL that you can't mistake for anything other than an ID:

If you need a mnemonic, it's "v equals 'video'".

So, we end up with:

and away we go:
