I watched the Torchwood series on the SyFy channel until the season came to an end. If a new season has started on BBC I'll have to look in on it.

I like Torchwood well enough to watch it every week but I must admit that the rampant bi-sexuality turned me off a bit. Honestly I could care no less about sexual preference. There is another character that is openly gay and it doesn't bother me at all, but the almost universal switch hitting bugs me a little for some reason. Probably because it is so gratuitous and unimportant to the series.

I have tried to watch Primeval but it just doesn't cut it for me.

I can't wait for the Dr Who TV movie scheduled for release sometime this year. It will be the swan song for David Tennant's version of Who and will setup the series revival sometime in 2010. The new Doctor has been chosen but I forget who :). Google should have it handy.

BTW there is another Who spin off on BBC, The Sarah Jane Adventures, the series is set in present-day West London and features the adventures of Sarah Jane and adopted son Luke with friends Maria Jackson(Series One) Clyde Langer and Rani Chandra(Series Two), assisted by the super Computer Mr Smith (which is a Xylok) as well sometimes with dog robot K-9.

Some of the characters from both spin-offs were in the Dr Who series finale last year.
