Suppose this paragraph had an interesting observation, which was placed into a larger context using the scientific method and supported by evidence and theory from respected sources.

Now suppose this paragraph included a profanity laced attack on another poster and claimed that crop circles were a secret government program to develop new harvesting techniques?

How would this be handled under the new system? Move it all to Off-topic? Since the non-registered poster could not follow it there, is that cool? Same with Flame. Should the whole thing be deleted with a notification post? Or, should moderators be able to go into the post itself and remove the nasty bits (again with clear notification)?

This post is free to be Moderated in anyway the Mods choose. That includes Jody, Frank, or others with mod powers from other boards. Soon as I get my powers back, I'll play with it.
