Re: Football coach"reckless homicide and wanton endangerment"
I really feel conflicted on this one. I have been closely associated with football most of my life and I have been active in youth football for the last 7 years.
I am pretty familiar with coaching methods at all levels except professional and the practice of withholding water has not been prevalent since the 70's. Keeping players hydrated is stressed in football these days and a coach that allows a player to die from lack of water deserves punishment.
I am not sure what the sentencing implications of reckless homicide would be and that might be too severe but if I were the Father of the kid he might be safer in jail.
