what's really sad about this is that i saw an interview with the director of this movie, and he obviously doesn't even pretend to believe any of this is true. he thinks its all very funny. it's all just a way of making money for him, and he knows perfectly well there are people out there who will be terrified by all this, but he has so little respect for his audience he just doesn't care what they believe, or what they do.

what is it about making a buck that makes some people believe that if someone is ignorant enough to fall for something, they deserve to get taken. and what's worse is that none of his colleagues calls him on it.

remember the blair witch project? chariots of the gods? the bermuda triangle?
the amityville horror? orson wells did it in the 30s by accident, these people do it on purpose.
