OK they are going to Edwards. will land at 5:53 pm, and I'll be outside just so I can hear the sonic boom. Hmm though it's coming over the coast near Santa Barbara which is considerably North of me, so maybe I won't hear the sonic boom. If I had the gumption I would drive up to Edwards and watch it come in. They don't open up Edwards like they used to for the landings. Unless you have a special pass you have to park along the road just outside the base and watch it from a distance. That's one reason I don't have the incentive to drive 2 hrs. through L. A. Traffic to get there. And the crappy fact that I'm now 69 years old.
