You ask where the change is. Well, I think you see about as much change as you could expect for the first, what's it been, 8 months? One thing that is not yet appreciated is that historians will say that a serious depression was averted in large part, by Obama's leadership. And that conservative's contribution toward the solution was in fact negative. Things would have been better if they had just shut up and rode it out. It takes time for economic change to be felt.

Regardless of how light the suffering in this recession ends up, I expect conservatives to ask in a few years: "where's that depression you promised me?" Similar to the 'tude you guys copped after Y2K had few disasters (after all the investment to avert them).

There's been a huge change in executive regulation. A lot of Bush stuff has been undone. It is not the sort of thing that makes the news. And it's a lot of stuff you would hate anyway, so why bother bringing it up.
