This is repeated as a mantra, but by what standards? Researchers have found that we're spending more on health care than we used to because we're buying more and better health care than we used to.
Attempts to "control" prices have resulted in disaster everyplace it's been tried. If you want to bring insurance prices down through actual market forces, there are several changes that have been proposed to current laws and regulations that would do that. The Democrats aren't interested.
