Bright ISS pass
π Tonight I just saw the brightest ISS pass ever. Actually it was a little strange. I first saw it coming up in the Northwest. After a few seconds it began to get brighter and brighter and brighter, till it was so bright I almost was squinting my eyes. Then It dimmed quickly till it was almost not visible, and gradually brightened to normal brightness as it got to the highest point in the sky. Then it gradually dimmed till it faded out to the Southwest. I am assuming that the bright flair was just a coincidental alignment with the sun and something very reflective on the station. I was in contact with my brother who lives 150 miles to the north of me, and he saw the very bright flair the same as I did.
