The Democratic plan remains what it always has been:
--Construct a "public option" supported by the taxpayers and immune to loss.
--Cripple the private insurance industry with regulations and mandates making it impossible for them to continue in business.
--Give consumers a "choice" between the race horse on steroids and the one whose ankles have been broken by a government hammer.
