Death panels resurrected

I support death with dignity legislation. I see nothing wrong with assisting a terminally ill patient make informed choices for themeselves.
But what happens in the case of an incapacitated patient? Will it be the doctors and bureaucrats who make the choices, or will those decisions be left to the family?
Scoff if you like but with the recent growth in government control, It looks like were headed in that direction.
