people at work create wealth, not jerks in suits fiddling with interest rates or selling each other ious, or playing russian roulette with bundled debt and juggling financial instruments.
my problem isn't with real production or capitalism or enterprise, its with the papershuffling vampires who call themselves entrepreneurs but who have never once in their lives invested a penny of their own money or who have even the slightest clue what those initials on the stock pages actually represent: factories and mines and workshops and offices of people using their hands and minds to actually make things that people need.
calling yourself an entrepreneur doesn't make you one any more than waving a flag and wearing medals makes you a soldier. and american businessmen aren't being defeated by their government, they are losing the competitive war to other businessmen, most of them in government systems far to the left of yours. do you really think the collapse of american capitalism started with obama?
