Hello,
We were informed months ago about the organization of the Galilean Nights.
In order to ease the job, I decided with a friend that we would be 3 astronomy clubs to organize it. The Belgian IYA2009 coordinator heard about this initiative and let our science minister know about this. Then finally came the galilescopes (very very late, but there!!) and we were told the minister would come to our Galilean Night party to supervise the distribution of the scopes!
I was to do a conference about Galileo.
Yesterday, it was raining all the time, the minister came, we had winners for the galileoscopes and everything went great!! We joined our forces, we did everything we promised , it was I believe, one of the greatest moments of all three clubs !!
