Dear Rob:

I tried to respond earlier and even to Robert (!). We'll see if this works for me.

Anyways, yes, those WISP women must have been amazing. Unfortunately, I never heard of them and Sally Ride took me by surprise when she flew on shuttle in '83. I have high regards towards Shannon Lucid (Astronaut in '79; STS 51G,June of '85). Lucid logged 5,354 hours in space... that's 223 days in space and was surpassed by Suni Williams:

[During her increment in space, Suni Williams broke the existing record by Shannon Lucid, setting a new record for females of 195 days in space.]

I know, Peggy Whitson broke the record in '08 with five total spacewalks, however.

And the list, I'm sure goes on....

I only wish I hadn't gone into secretarial work. :}

Best.

😉
