do you really think anybody here really gives a flying fig about liberalism vs conservatism, regardless of what their politics are? even those who have strong opinions one way or the other know that nothing said here is going to change anything, or anyone's mind. most of us have better things to do with our lives than endlessly annoying a captive audience with our pet peeve. an occasional discussion is one thing, like we might have on any other topic. but with you guys its the only game in town. you are just plain rude, and you'd be just as rude and insufferable if you worked for the other side.

so if I sound like er it might just be er, and i, and i'm sure most others here, (including all those others who tired of listening to your whining and left) simply don't care about your desperate and pathetic need to convince and correct and admonish and warn everyone else. its not your point of view that infuriates us, its your breathless, wide-eyed, insufferable enthusiasm.

you guys have been called insulting, dogmatic, shrill, strident, arrogant, unwilling to compromise, and incapable of meeting anyone half-way. what's the phrase? "my way or the highway". but i think robert phrased it better still:

"...because the spin never ends, ... Everything is a verbal trap with you, and it's impossible to simply agree on a matter of fact without also confessing to something scurrilous...If you weren't so effing obnoxious all the time you might get a better reception."

so you see sweetheart? it's not your politics we don't like. it's you. rest assured, it's not business, it's strictly personal.
