She is a hero.
Two of my grade school buddies were on that base that day. I have been friends with Jimmy since 7th grade and Joe since 9th grade. Both are getting ready to go back to Iraq on their second tour. I have worried for their safety in Iraq. I never thought I would have to worry about it on an Army bas in America.
