Civil War.....the saddest war of all time imho.
I understand the reality that everyone feels they are *right* in a war....
I wish I was smart enough and intuitive enough to know what *other sides* thought (NOT their leaders..the soldiers)
Alas...I am not. I was born in the U.S. so therefore the American Soldier is who I am most grateful for.
I am only human.....and I revere the American Soldiers most of all.... I do feel for *all* soldiers who perceive they are doing the right thing....(okay..there are a few exceptions)...but what the hay...I never said I was perfect.
