Re: Those fossils in the Martian meteorite?
It's worth noticing that the recent papers don't definitively show that these are martian microbes, and to their credit they don't claim to. They show that the other explanations put forward for how they got there don't hold up, leaving (just for right now) the biological explanation as the best of the bunch. And I've got to admit the resembelance between some of these features and confirmed terrestrial microfossils is striking.
