i wasn't thinking necessarily about demo versus repub, more about how the "other" is always responsible (because of treachery, of course) for "our" side not achieving its expected, well-deserved victory. The nazis were the master race, but they were always being prevented from achieving their full potential by the obviously inferior and degenerate jews. and they never saw the contradiction. and it works not just at the collective level, but with individuals, too. if it wasn't for the xxxxx, everything would be wonderful because we live in a meritocracy and we obviously have all the merit.
