I have walked my whole life. When I was a teen, my boyfriend and I often did 10 miles a couple of times a week (and then some!). And I walked several days a week living in Florida. Shoes, shorts and sunshine. I can see the benefits that exercise, vitamin and mineral supplements and keeping a positive attitude have done for me. One thing I learned about living in the mountains is that I don't walk here in the winter, and by the time spring rolls around, I huff and I puff coming up the steep hill here. It takes a good month to get back in shape.
Now I've got a trampoline, and joined the Y to swim. I also lucked out with a great gym membership locally for only $16 a month. Everybody get off the couch and work it.😉
