More proof of the need for stringent term limits.
Senator Dodd could not have done nearly so much damage had he been restricted to a single six-year term. IMHO, one step in cleaning up the cesspool that is Congress is to have strict term limits such as
Senate 1 six-year term
House 3 two year terms
While we are at it, it is high time to abolish life tenure for Federal judges. I propose instead:
1 eight-year term at a given level
