Guess whose going to carry the Olympic flame on the 12th?
Not me! I'm not going to Whistler, B.C.
this month.
But Governor Schwarzenegger of Caleeeforrneeea has been given
the green light to carry the flame somewhere along the route,
probably in North Vancouver.
For those of you who have never been there, North Vancouver
is considered to be Canada's San Francisco as far as benign Pacific climate
and streets and houses on steep slopes are concerned.
As you probably know, there is a lack of snow on Vancouver's mountains.
Hey! Maybe D.C. could ship some over.
