This is a list of programs recommended by Dot.Tech.Org. I have full McAfee. However, I do get these annoying pop-up ad screens every damn time I access MSNBC.com. I can't help but think I've probably got all kinds of adware and who knows what crap on my computer even though I try to be careful. I use Firefox and have Windows XP. I rarely us IE because I hate it.

Damn, I just clicked on IE and it shows me IE 7's new look and then pops up and recommends Downloading IE8. God, I hate all this pop-up download me now shit. I just want to be left alone to USE the damn computer.

Sigh.

One of them I was interested in lists Windows 2000 but doesn' specify XP. I guess that means it wouldn't work on my computer?
