I'm thinking of dumping it but am not sure what to replace it with. The University where I work (until I retire the end of this month--yay!) says Microsoft Security Essentials is its new recommended anti-virus and anti-malware product for home computers. Anybody have any experience with it?

Or is there some other you'd recommend? I don't mind paying but I need something reliable that will actually find malware (in addition to firewall & anti-virus duties). McAfee already let one through on me and I don't want a 2nd experience. I am not that tech savvy so it has to be user friendly. That's one thing McAfee is, very user friendly.
