The only reason Arizona passed the law, which is not what you are hearing in the media, is because the Federal government has dropped the ball, and in my opinion, deliberately.

For the record, the Federal government is still enforcing Federal drug laws in California despite a lot of lip service otherwise. The Supreme Court has twice struck down California's attempts to evade this.

It's interesting how support for "state's rights" varies all over the map depending on one's agenda. The only reason the Democrats and liberals are raising a holy stink about this one law is because they desperately need an issue for November.
