I apologize if I am re-directing your original post TB...but for the record, I kept my bloody mouth SHUT and was nothing but supportive when Jordyn went to Kandahar. yay me. :(
She was not at all equipped for what was in store for her. She went off half cocked...as usual. When my daughter sets sail on an idea, there is no turning back.
I had one week to prepare for all that a mother has to mentally prepare for. Apparently I am still going through it, although she is back. My tunnel vision has subsided and I want to throttle her.
I particularly embraced the notion she was walking on the median of a freeway in Dubai with her luggage at 1:30 in the morning with no money because her hotel reservation got messed up.
