If you didn't catch "Through the Wormhole on thr Science Channel, I highly recommend the series from what I saw in the first episode.
One theory discussed was that we may be someones super computer simulation, a game of sims by someone in the future.
A parallel was drawn with our own crude simulations and the similarity between pixels and current cosmic theory.
Mind boggling stuff
