The coming tax increases, sidebar
Obama has said he will extend the Bush tax cuts for the middle class. Interesting. As I recall, part of the Democratic catechism was that there WERE no Bush middle class tax cuts.
If the Congress doesn't do something before the end of the year to extend the Bush cuts, middle class taxes are going up big time. If they don't do it before the election, it probably means they won't do it at all. Let's see what happens.
