am pleased. My son worked at a couple of petstores, and you simply do NOT want to know what transpired.
People would discard their pets at the front door in the wee hours of the morning.
One petstore forced drano down the throats of kittens..to *euthanize* the overpopulation.
Exotic animals have no business being sold in pet stores....or sold period. My son was fired for contacting OSHA because a shipment of crickets (for reptiles) was laced with brown recluses. Especially Mom and Pop petstores...they have no one to answer to unless a disgruntled patron, or an employyee comes forward.
Animal abuse will continue...it 's fact...but I will be curious how this proposed ban works out. Personally I hope it sets a standard.
