Interactive oil spill map
I've spent some time at this NOAA site, but frankly, there's almost too much information available to process and integrate.
I'm hoping others will also find it useful.
Note: The SCAT data in this system seems to focus on Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama coast areas (including some of the Florida panhandle). I would not assume that outside these areas no marking on this map means no oil at all. I've relied on other sources for Florida information, and haven't found a good overview of Texas information.
