What if?
What if they can't cap this spill? It will poison our oceans and will be the death of our planet. We will have done what has been predicted for many years, killed ourselves through greed and stupidity.
A million years from now, an alien will land on the shores of what was once the US and wonder at how this disaster could have happened. A planet with oceans of oil instead of water. Only the ghosts of what might have been will remain to see their tears over the waste.
Unless, of course, their tears are made of oil and they settle happily down on our planet for the next million years until they unleash the next disaster.
