To be a bit picky, I don't think you need the explanation about Fraggies. Everyone knows what a frag is, or can make guesses. Don't hurry to explain everything right up front. Sometimes a few questions are useful and they allow the reader space to dream and invent a bit around your basic framework.
It reminded me a little of "Slippery Jim" DiGriz...
