Re: no kidding

I'm way behind the curve on upgrades. I went through most of my design career using Acad 13 paired with the only rendering engine I could afford at the time, Accurender. After a while, the commands became instinctive and transparent to my design process, and I could turn out some amazing stuff very quickly. Unfortunately, demand was such that I didn't have a lot of down time to learn the new stuff as it came out. Nobody wanted to wait while I worked out how new command structures worked.

Now I'm "between contracts" as it were, and it's a perfect time to catch up. And now the damn menus look like a space shuttle cockpit. I can still get the job done with the old stuff - kind of like Schroeder can play Beethoven on a toy piano with the black keys painted on - but I really should buckle down and figure out 3DS Max if nothing else. I have all the new stuff - I kept upgrading over the years.
