Oblivious sounds about right
I think sometimes people run off the deep end without tracing where info comes from. It gets repeated until the source is lost and those prone to panic just repeat it as gospel because somebody else sent it to them. This person is not anti-Semitic so I think oblivious, too trusting and too willing to believe the worst are the best descriptions.
