140 deaths a year out of 37million people?
Give me a break.

I’ve also read elsewhere the number of people currently affected with lung related health problems is around 9,000- a whopping. 0002 % It should be very clear the economic burden needs to be placed on those people susceptible to lung aliments . They should be the ones to leave the area, not the general populace who will be forced to make hard changes…or leave.

Although there's a myriad of different factors behind this, you should note that life expectancy in the state of California is 10th in the nation. But you may infer that Air polution is not a leading factor.
