Re: Perplexing Question
Clearly, there must be SOME inductive effect, but it is very small. Gravity is the weakest known force. To detect the gravitational attraction between laboratory-sized objects is fairly tricky and was first done by Cavendish. If one had a flywheel spinning at high speed, in principle it would induce motion in a nearby flywheel. This is called "dragging of inertial frames" and is a well-known, but yet undetected effect of General Relativity. There are plans to launch a satellite to detect "dragging of inertial frames"
