Defining "fixing."
All too often we are presented with a binary solution: "If you don't support massive government expenditures on (X) you must not want people to have (X)."
We need a paradigm shift. "This needs fixing" should not be equivalent to "this needs government to fix it."
And that's just one of several paradigm shifts we need.
