Sorry, I don't have the link but I've asked for it from the poster.
I've said it before, Republican'ts are not only poor losers; they're also poor winners. This won't last long. As soon as they need money for Republican't things, they'll be hat in hand, all forgiveness.
GOP: Corporations May Pay for Colluding with Democrats
^Companies that had the temerity to work with Democrats on issues such as increasing the minimum wage and the health care bill face possible punishment by the GOP, reports the Washington Post. Republicans have been paying attention to corporations that have sought to accommodate the Obama administration's policy initiatives and donated money to Democrats. "Some businesses joined in on the hang-me-last strategy," said Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Ill. "I think upon reflection, in moments of candor, they may say they were foolish to do that." Corporations counter, however, that their best option was to try to influence the Obama administration, rather than reject its initiatives. Republicans disagree. During the health care debate, Wal-Mart received a warning from Republicans for supporting the Obama administration's efforts. The pharmaceutical industry has also fallen out of favour with Republicans after supporting the health care overhaul, with likely future House leader Rep. John Boehner firing off a vitriolic letter to the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. "Appeasement rarely works as a conflict resolution strategy," he wrote to the group's chief lobbyist. Some predict that industries which sided with Democrats may encounter difficulty mustering Republican support in the future. "There's going to come a time when pharma companies are going to want Republicans to take a tough vote for them, and they're going to be like, 'Why are we going to walk off a cliff for you guys? You were fighting against us,' " a Republican lobbyist told the Post.^
