That's what REAL news organizations do
Seems a lot of people miss the real point here: NBC has actual journalistic standards, and you can get fired for doing what Fox requires its propagandists to do. Fox gives a free megaphone to rightwing candidates; NBC fires Olbermann for donating $2400 to three candidates.
I admit I've been getting a little tired of Olbermann, but I don't think his suspension was justified. But maybe its real value is to draw a line in the sand between news and propaganda.
