Driving the Sprinter down to southern California this weekend to visit our daughter, grabbing our son enroute at his college. She can't get time off for Thanksgiving itself (grad school is a bitch). Kids don't have decent kitchens for cooking yet, and restaurants only do big Thanksgiving feeds on Thanksgiving Day, so we're going to find someplace cool to go out and eat. I'm checking into the Sunday buffet at the Queen Mary.

Normally, I cook a turkey breast on the Weber grill. Nobody here likes dark meat that much. Dressing is Pepperidge Farm bread cubes (only comes out on Thanksgiving) with cream of chicken soup. Mashed potatoes, canned gravy, and some vegetable. We sometimes make our own cranberry-orange relish, but Trader Joe's has a good one too. Sometimes we have the traditional "cranberries shaped like a can."
