Calm down Eri. Think: What involvement has Obama had in placing the machines in airports? And what role did he have with implementing the patdowns? Are we angry that the TSA officials, (NOT the Obama administration) Withheld the fat that they were keeping photos of scans? Or is the issue mainly with the patdowns? Personally, IF they change it so they don't save images, I'm okay with the scans. As long as they avoid genitalia, I'm fine (I'll make an exception if the person doing it is the opposite gender). True politicians promote the thong - but that's probably because not doing so would jeopardize their career, since people would complain that they're not doing anything about it. In fact, they probably can't do anything but lobby against it, and there are so many other issues out there that, when compared to this, make it not seem as important. I am not approving of the current methods, I am not saying that they should be as I proposed, I am just offering alternate solutions and trying to encourage people to respond to this situation with common sense and not brooklyn rage. Besides, TB did have a point here in an earlier topic: They only have one major airport; so instead of scanners, they can bring in guards.
Oh, and mcfly: Big business may not tell us what to do, but they can certainly influence our actions.
